• Studied at the “University of the Arts, Tokyo” and at the “School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston”.
• Received a “Guggenheim Fellowship” in 1960
• Considered a representative of abstract expressionism
• Various exhibitions in the USA, Europe and Japan
• Different works in the “Guggenheim Museum, New York”, the “Museum for Fine Arts, Boston”, the “Smith College Museum of Art” and the “Blanton Museum of Art”.
